Back in November of 2009 I posted about how I was transitioning all of the bulbs in the house from the old, incandescent style of bulb compact fluorescent lights. As I mentioned in another post, I DID replace all of the incandescent lights by the end of that month, and I did see a decrease in my energy bill as a result.
I'm writing today, though, to say that this morning I had to replace my first burned out CFL. Almost two years with no light bulb changing, and a total of about 30 bulbs in the house. Not bad.
