Ok, take it down. That looks silly. Like the pic of you and the girls though. And if it makes you feel better, I don't remember the present from Christmas '77 either. I'm sure it was something we were all supposed to enjoy. May it have been the ping pong table? Love you, see you Sunday. Ann
It may look silly, but I'm going to leave it up at least through Christmas. It's a good conversation piece, and I'm going to change his composition from day to day (I've already replaced the red missile with the original fist and I've placed him in a rearing position!).
I'm not sure when we got the ping pong table. I know we played with that thing forever. Seems like it took up pretty much the whole family room, and I remember that the house rule was shots off the ceiling or (especially) off the lowered ceiling where the ductwork is were fair shots. More than that, though, I remember coming downstairs in the dark on Christmas morning to get a sneak peek at the Christmas presents and walking forehead-first into the corner of the ping pong table!

Finally ..... the final piece of the new house ... this is the keystone of the new house!!
