It's official, thanks to the state legislature. Fellow Kentuckians,Happy Rare Disease Day!
Now there's something you can get excited about! It's the perfect day to give that special someone you care about a Rare Disease! Just think how excited Dr. House will be when that special someone makes it to his hospital and House gets to try to figure out what's wrong with him/her.
Speaking of House, I'm starting to get tired of the show. It's becoming pretty repetitive. It's a fairly popular one hour drama on the FOX network, but if you've never seen it before, I can summarize what's going to happen in pretty much every episode in a single paragraph:
Someone is going to get deathly sick at the opening of the show. Over the course of the episode Dr. House and his team of doctors will misdiagnose the patient three or four times, almost killing him/her in the process, before finally figuring out what's wrong with about 4 minutes left in the show. Meanwhile, Dr. House will walk around the hospital abusing prescription drugs and being an absolute a**hole for most of the show, only to end the show redeeming himself by either a) being uncharacteristically nice to someone, b) crying in pain due to his debilitating physical problem or c) playing a beautiful piece on the piano. Almost always the patient survives, though once or twice a season they kill the poor person just to keep us viewers on our toes.
Sorry if I gave away anything about next week's show.
