This morning Lisa and our younger daughter set off for East Lansing, Michigan. They were headed to Michigan State University, site of this year's World Finals for the Odyssey of the Mind competition. This is my daughter's second trip in a row to the world finals, and her team's third trip in a row. As I mentioned last year, the World Finals of Odyssey of the Mind is a HUGE deal. It takes place over several days. This year I'm also excited to say that my younger daughter gets to participate in the parade of states/nations at the Opening Ceremonies (which are patterned after the Olympics). She and a few others will represent Kentucky in the parade.
