Yesterday was the first day of a full week of Fall Break for my school district. I worked yesterday (The first day of a long break is a GREAT time to go to work and get lots done because no one bother me) and am planning to take off the rest of the week. I was hoping to have some time with my wife (our daughters are NOT off this week), time to just be a couple, and maybe to get some projects done around the house. However, two things are looming:1) I think the teaching staff at the girls' school must all be getting the flu, because it looks like Lisa is going to work most if not all days this week.
2) Worse, I think I am getting the flu MYSELF. I'm writing this on Monday night, and I'm not feeling too good, to be honest. I left work an hour early because I felt this coming on. I hope it's just a cold or congestion or something. I've only had the flu once before, and I found it really unpleasant...
