Cell Phone Pictures

I was just cleaning out the memory on my smart phone and I found these pictures. None of them are great and none of them are of a good enough quality for me to keep them, but I thought I'd share them really quickly before deleting. Most are from this summer. You can enlarge the pictures by clicking on them.
The picture of the girls smelling flowers and making a peace sign was taken on June 30 when the whole family went to the zoo. This photo was taken just after we arrived.

During that visit to the zoo we went into the Insect House. The insect house has a new ant exhibit. If you've been to the Cincinnati Zoo before, you may remember that there has always been an ant exhibit inside the Insect House, but now they've created a second habitat that's about 50 feet away from the first habitat, and they've connected the two with plastic tubes. The ant colony is in one habitat and their food is now being placed in another so that visitors can watch the little guys have to trek their food all the way home through the tunnels. It's actually very interesting albeit cruel. At the food side of the display is this throne where children can pretend to be the "ant queen."

That night (and all that week actually) Natalie had soccer camp. I snapped this picture of her playing goalie. She's the one with her legs spread (not standard defensive posture, I don't think).

I already posted one shot of Natalie helping me mulch the flower beds during conVENTion week. Here's another shot.

One day during the ConVENTion, when Lisa was busy working and Meredith was in Frankfort, Natalie and I went to the Newport Aquarium and then walked across the river on the Purple People Bridge. I snapped this photo about 1/4 of the way across.

These last photos, which I'm going to put on without further explanation, were all taken that day at the Newport Aquarium. I will add that the Lorikeet that is seen serenely staring at the camera and then violently attacking it did this to every camera and every head or hand that got too close to it.
