A couple of days ago I provided a photo and some video of me playing Donkey Basketball for a fundraiser in Erlanger. I mentioned in the post that there were some local "celebrities" playing in the game. One of them was the morning DJ for Kiss 107 in Cincinnati, and there are more photos on the KISS 107 website ,which you can see by clicking this link.I don't listen to KISS 107 FM (younger and more urban type of music than I listen to) so I didn't recognize the DJ by his face or his voice. However, in between the first set of games and the second I was talking with a young woman who seemed vaguely familiar to me. She was asking me about the game and what I thought of the donkeys, stuff like that. I thought maybe she was a former student or a teacher who'd been in the district for only a year or so, something like that. Then during our conversation I saw the "Channel 5" on her shirt and it dawned me. "You're Valerie Abati!" I said. "I KNEW I recognized you from somewhere!"
Anyway, there's a pretty dark photo of me tugging on a donkey in the slideshow (Photo 23) and a photo of the "celebrities" a few slides later (Photo 26).

I thought I was all ears for the Sweasy blog but alas I am in at least second place.
Something really bothers me. Photo 26 shows a very skinny person, what is going on there, starving to death for TV? She is sick and doesn't know it! Is this going on in the schol system also?
