Weird Name

I saw these Doritos in the supermarket a couple of months ago and laughed out loud: I guess Doritos is starting to run out of names for their snacks.

I guess what interests me most about this package is all of the extra wording. They could have just been called "Doritos Taco Flavored." But no, Doritos chose to call them "Doritos Late Night Tacos at Midnight." I didn't know that all of that extra wording is necessary. How do tacos at midnight taste different from tacos at, say, three in the afternoon?

Oh, but wait, I guess I know. Tacos at midnight, in addition to having a taco taste, would also have either a beer puke taste or a marijuana-breath taste. I wonder if THAT's the extra flavor that the makers of this chip were shooting for!

In any event, though the title made me laugh, it DIDN'T convince me to buy any Doritos, so I can't give you a review of the chip. And in that sense, I guess the weird name failed the company.
